Considering Restorative Justice?

If you are working with someone who you believe may be interested in taking part in Restorative Justice, this could be a suitable option if they:

  • Indicate that they would like to explain to the victim what happened, or why it happened.

  • Demonstrate remorse for having committed the offence/causing harm to the victim.

  • Want to reassure the victim that they will not cause further harm to them.

  • Want to offer an apology to the victim.
